Google Can’t Match Our Favorite Pop Culture Robots

Search engine behemoth Google announced an initiative yesterday to humanize AI with it’s PAIR (People + AI Research) program. This is in an attempt to further the “machine-human” connection for all of its products. While Google may have cornered the search market (and everything else related to it), it did not invent AI. If you think social media is scary, be sure to pay attention as we get closer to a Matrix world. Keep your friends close and your machines closer. Are you suspicious of someone in your life? Are they a bit too mechanical? Too good to be true? Shorts out a bit when you use the microwave near them? They just might be a robot, or maybe a catfisher. You can never be too careful.
