Something to consider checking into is the mass amount of music festivals to go to every month. Practically every genre has its own event somewhere in the US, so there’s sure to be at least one for everybody!
Last time we shared a music festival list for the month of January, so here are 6 upcoming musical events to attend this February 2017:
Gem & Jam Festival
Feb 2-5, 2017 | AZ
The Gem & Jam Festival is located in Tucson, AZ with pre-parties in LA, CA. The event is meant to serve as an expression of the powers that crystals and stones possess. Featuring artists like Gramatik, Lotus, and Com Truise, this 11th annual gathering will showcase a variety of genres, including but not limited to dubstep, jam, hip-hop, electronic, and rock.
FUMP Family Music Festival
Feb 3, 2017 | TX
If you’re looking for some family fun and you live in the Austin, Texas area, head on down to FUMP Family Music Festival! This picnic/concert is a fundraiser for the host (First United Methodist Preschool) which enables local families to enroll their children into affordable schools.
Indy Winter Blues Fest
Feb 11-12, 2017 | IN
Based in Indianapolis, the annual Indy Winter Blues Fest is organized in an effort to feature Indiana’s top blues artists. Rather than describing its history ourselves, we’ll show you what the founder wrote on the official website:
San Jose Jazz Winter Fest
Feb 14-Mar 3, 2017 | CA
As stated on its website, San Jose Jazz Winter Fest is designated to highlight “Jazz’s leading voices and emerging talents in a club-like setting.” With different artists headlining on different dates throughout the life of this 2+ week long affair, try to stop by and experience one of the days.
Feb 17 in Queens, NY
Known as “America’s largest glow party,” Hyperglow Festival is a national college campus tour that combines paint with electronic music. Between the ultraviolet light-up paint, the bass drops, and the awesome artists, you’ll want to experience this event at least once during your college career!
Coastal Rock A.U.R.A. Festival
Feb 18, 2017 | GA
This underground rock and metal showcase has expanded to three cities over the past 8 years. This year’s fest is the biggest one yet, featuring 15 bands and two stages. A.U.R.A. Fest is also partnering with some delicious food trucks to make the event even more alluring (and appetizing).
