1. Go play in a local park.
Take a walk to a nearby park to play sports or chase each other around the playground. Be sure to make sure it’s a safe place to hang out beforehand.
2. Sign up for classes at a gym or studio.
If it’s tough to get outside and you’d rather just go somewhere, take a look at the class schedules in your closest gym or studio. Whether you like yoga, swimming, or aerobics, there’s something for everyone!
3. Ride bikes around the neighborhood or to an ice cream shop.
Enjoy a ride through local sceneries or head somewhere you can get a yummy treat after your workout. Getting a reward after doing something always makes it that much better!
4. Schedule a weekly game night.
Soccer, wiffle ball, softball — whatever you and your family like to do, schedule a night every week to play your favorite game or sport.
Blast some music and get dancing. If you want to get daring, you can even try to combine this with cleaning to kill two birds with one stone and make a boring chore more enjoyable.
